Where this data comes from

FeneKe is an editorial project on events in Veneto. There's just one rule: better a few accurate facts than many uncertain ones.

   Gathering from public sources

   Events come from the websites of local councils, museums, theatres and organisers across the region. Each source is recorded with its reliability level, and every event keeps a link to the original page.

   Automated quality checks

   Before publication, every event goes through a series of checks: completeness of date, venue and category; consistency of dates; freshness of the information; absence of obvious duplicates.

   Review of doubtful cases

   Anything that fails the checks isn't published: it goes into a review queue. We prefer a shorter but reliable calendar to a long, inaccurate list.

   Continuous updates

   Sources are rechecked regularly. On every event page you'll find the source and the date of the latest check.
